J.P. Cummins CFP®

JP joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in 2003. He is a First Vice President/Investments and has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) since 1984. He holds the Series 7(General Securities), Series 65(Investment Advisor Representative) and Series9/10(General Securities Supervisor) as well as Life, Health and Disability insurance licenses in a number of states including Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida and California. Prior to joining Janney, JP was a First Vice President/Wealth Management at Smith Barney(1982-2003). JP is an active supporter of his alma mater, Pennsylvania State University (Bachelor of Science-1979), The Haverford School, The George Washington University, Radnor High School, the Delta Chi National fraternity, and many other local and national groups and causes. More recently, JP was elected to the Board of the Philadelphia Film Society. This group produces the annual Philadelphia Film Festival. He is a member of the Merion Cricket Club, Haverford, PA and enjoys tennis, squash and other racket sports, as well as bicycling. JP, his wife Sue Ellen and their children Alexandra, Ariana, Cameron and Kirby live in Saint Davids.
